ＯＳ名：Windows98パソコン名：ソフト名：ネットワークについてお伺い致します。以下のような設定のPCがあります。[コンピュータ名] TARO[IPアドレス] xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxはPinging xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with 32 bytes of date:Reply from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128となるのにping TAROはBad IP address TAROになります。同一PCを指しているのにどうしてなのでしょうか。

「TARO」についてhostsに記述していますか？
それともあなたのパソコンが接続されているLANに
DNSやWINSは動作していますか？
なければそのようになっても仕方ありません。
